Push a SolidWorks BOM to ERP: Types, sections, and a practical flow
When Excel is only a bridge, the next step is pushing the SolidWorks BOM into ERP.
One-time setup
- Export → BOM Settings → ERP connection.
- Base URL = ERP site origin.
- API key from the ERP CAD connection screen.
- Test connection → Save.
Type → section
Each Type has an ERP section (defaults: Detail→wood, Hardware→hardware, Packaging→packaging). Material stays in its own field.
